The Lee Health pharmacy internship program is a longitudinal experience that allows motivated students to develop pharmacy skills in a multi-hospital, community healthsystem. Our unique internship will allow interns to participate in an inpatient or outpatient structured training program that complements their knowledge and skillset acquired during pharmacy school. This can be a great first step on the path towards completing a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) Residency!
Lee Health’s Pharmacy Technician Training Program has been specially designed to provide the knowledge required to become a skilled, valued expert in this field. Program participants will be surrounded by experts who believe in Lee Health’s mission of community health care as well as like-minded individuals who support one another. The program teaches candidates what they need to work directly with the public in a stand-alone pharmacy, a retail store, a bustling hospital, and more.

The Internal Medicine Residency Program at Lee Health is sponsored by the Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine.
The program is based out of Cape Coral Hospital, with continued rotations across Lee Health’s other acute care hospitals and clinical sites, for sufficient exposure to a wide array of subspecialities. The diverse patient population at Cape Coral Hospital and the surrounding community exposes residents to both bread-and-butter internal medicine and more rare and complex pathology and diagnoses.
The program aims to graduate exceptional internists who are life-long learners, committed to serving others with compassion and excellence along with promoting a healthier future for the community. Residents receive well-rounded internal medicine training while fostering essential tools for careers in primary care, hospitalist medicine, and fellowship, with the support of dedicated academic faculty.
