Summary
Join our laboratory team as a Clerical Laboratory Assistant I and play an important role in supporting the daily operations of Pathology. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a healthcare environment.
In this role, you will:
- Provide professional clerical support to the laboratory and Pathology team.
- Greet and direct customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer and direct telephone calls while assisting with questions and requests.
- Prepare, type, copy, and distribute correspondence and other materials.
- Process and distribute mail and maintain organized filing systems.
- Assist with preparing client bills and distributing laboratory reports.
- Gather and maintain statistical information and other department data.
- Perform basic computer functions using Microsoft Office and LMHS computer systems.
