Nurse Residency Program

The Lee Health Nurse Residency Program is an evidence-based residency program for newly licensed nurses, nurses wishing to change specialties, and for nurses returning to acute-care after an extended leave. Nurses hired into the Nurse Residency Program will receive necessary support, education, professional development and mentoring.

Pharmacy Residency Program

The Lee Health Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy practice residency builds on Pharm.D. education and outcomes. This Pharmacy Residency program contributes to the development of clinical pharmacists, responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. This PGY-1 program also applies to residents who are eligible for board certification, and PGY-2 residency training.

Child Care Assistant II Training Program

Lee Health offers a Child Care Assistant II - to Child Development Associate (CDA) - career advancement program. During this training program, you will work full time (40 hours per week) as a Child Care Assistant II as you earn your Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. In addition to receiving paid, on-the job training, Lee Health will cover the cost of the application/registration fees for an approved CDA training program.

CNA Trainee Program

Are you ready to start a rewarding career in healthcare? Lee Health’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Career Advancement Program offers you the chance to earn while you learn. We provide full tuition support, including all application, registration, and certification exam fees, so you can focus on gaining the skills and knowledge needed to become a certified CNA.

Medical Assistant Training Program

At Lee Health, we’re committed to growing talent from within—and that means investing in our people. Our Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Career Advancement Program is one of the many ways we support career mobility for our team members.

This internal training opportunity offers 100% paid tuition, national certification exam fees, and on-the-job training for eligible employees ready to launch a clinical career as a Medical Assistant (eligible after one year of service). Participants gain valuable healthcare knowledge through online coursework and transition into full-time MA roles upon certification—all while earning a paycheck.

Pharmacy Internship Program

The Lee Health pharmacy internship program is a longitudinal experience that allows motivated students to develop pharmacy skills in a multi-hospital, community healthsystem. Our unique internship will allow interns to participate in an inpatient or outpatient structured training program that complements their knowledge and skillset acquired during pharmacy school. This can be a great first step on the path towards completing a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) Residency!

Ready to grow your healthcare career? Lee Health is offers a paid career advancement program in Sterile Processing—a critical part of patient safety and surgical excellence.

This “Earn While You Learn” opportunity allows you to work full time while training to become a Certified Instrument Technician. You'll gain hands-on experience, receive 100% paid tuition and exam support, and prepare for industry certification through The Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).
