Lee Health is looking for an experienced, confident Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric Urgent Care team in Naples.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
At least 3 years of experience working in a Medical Assistant title within the last 4 years
Hands-on experience administering injections
We are specifically seeking an experienced MA who can step into the role with confidence and is comfortable providing hands-on clinical support in a pediatric urgent care setting.
A 4x10-hour schedule means you work four days each week while maintaining full-time status.
Youll be part of a pediatric-focused team caring for children who need prompt, compassionate care from routine illnesses and injuries to urgent medical needs.

4x10-hour shifts
This is a variable weekday schedule, so flexibility is important.
Weekend and holiday coverage is required as part of the clinic's schedule. You must be comfortable working weekends and holidays when scheduled.

Hourly Pay: $20.52 $25.65/hour

$3,500 Standard Sign-On Bonus

Eligible candidates relocating more than 50 miles may qualify for a $5,000 relocation package.
Sign-on and relocation incentives are subject to applicable eligibility requirements and employment terms. Sign-on bonus recipients are required to commit to two years in an eligible Medical Assistant role.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience in a team-based environment while assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician or physician assistant. This position is responsible for patient safety, performing phlebotomy, point of care testing, assisting in minor procedures, processing lab specimens, safe operation of medical equipment, provides patient instructions, and for handling and administering medications according to regulatory standards and organizational policy and procedure under the direct supervision of a physician or physician assistant. This position is responsible for the collection, communication and documentation of accurate patient information/data and maintaining medical records according to regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include coordinating requests for information and prescriptions, maintain and preparing patient care areas to ensure efficient, effective and safe patient care delivery. Late hours, holidays and weekends may be required. Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department. This position is required to float to all LPG and Hospital Outpatient Department locations across four counties.
Education: High School Diploma or GED Required. Completion of a medical assisting program or postsecondary medical assisting program accredited to prepare the medical assistant to take national AAMA (American Association of Medical Assisting), CCMA (National Health Career Association), or RMA (American Medical Technologists) medical assistant certification exam preferred.
Experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a physicians office or hospital outpatient department with medication administration with injection experience required.
Certification: AAMA (American Association of Medical Assisting), CCMA (National Health career Association), RMA (American Medical Technologists) preferred. BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) required (must be obtained within first 90 days of hire).
License: N/A
Other: Medical terminology, communication skills and basic knowledge of computers required. Early/late hours and/or weekends may be required.
