Pay: $21.01 $24.69/hour + Shift Differential (2nd & 3rd shift only)

As an Emergency Department Technician, youll provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Services environment. Requirements

Education:High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:No experience required.

Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire (American Heart Association BLS preferred), upon renewal American Heart Association BLS is required. American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Paramedics must have upon hire. Not required for EMTs. Department approved de-escalation training, must obtain within 90 days of hire date.

License:Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic license required.

Other:Accepts flexible scheduling including change of shift start times and/or change of shift date to meet department needs. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Any other tasks and/or duties as assigned within the EDT scope of practice. May have access to and transport non-controlled medications as directed. Agrees to incorporate the following into daily practice:
