Youll play a critical part in supporting outpatient services by ensuring patients scheduled with Florida Radiology offices are properly authorized and accurately scheduled.
Managing insurance authorization workflows
Coordinating and scheduling outpatient radiology appointments
Reviewing orders for accuracy and completeness
Communicating with physician offices and internal teams
Supporting outpatient registration processes
Ensuring compliance with healthcare insurance guidelines
Your work directly supports patient access, care coordination, and a smooth experience for those receiving radiology services.
Medical scheduling experience (major bonus!)
Exposure to healthcare insurance workflows or authorizations
Strong attention to detail and time management
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, kind attitude

Responsible for providing exceptional verbal and written customer service in a team-based environment. Patient Access Representatives play a key role in the success of Outpatient Registration, as his/her immediate interaction with patients, impacts revenue, repeat visits and patient satisfaction. Must be able to identify issues as they occur and take appropriate actions to resolve them. This position will also include time of service collections and maintaining department work queues. Late hours, holidays, and weekends may be required.
Education:High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Experience: 1 or more years of Customer Service- Required. 1 or more years of Medical Office Experience- Preferred.

Other: Must be organized, dependable, practical and driven.
