Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$21.01 - $24.69 / hour
Provides high-quality diagnostic electrophysiographic exams in accordance to the policies and procedures that are provided by the Lee Health Cardiovascular Department. Technicians must be proficient in performing EKGs, rhythm strips, stress tests, and holter monitoring. The position requires participation in "on call" rotation, available for over time and being able to work flexible hours and days of the week to include weekends as determined per specific department needs.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EKG Technician II preferred, performing EKG, Stress and Holter Monitors.
Certification:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire. Certified Cardio graphic Technician (CCT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
License:N/A
Other:Basic department specific EKG competency is required within 6 months of hire date. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills.
