Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$105,040 - 141,835.20
Responsible for directing the overall planning and operation of the health system security function as well as the safety function for the Professional Office buildings.
Education: Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years supervisor/management experience in healthcare safety and security, law enforcement, or military required.
Certification: IAHSS Supervisor Level Certification required within 1 year of employment or currently possess the CHPA Certification from IAHSS.
License: Valid Florida Drivers license within 30 days of employment. Class D Security License from FL Dept. of Agriculture & Consumer Services: need state issued license or proof of application (state issued acknowledgement card) within first 30 days of employment. Proof of State issued license to be provided within 90 days. Must be eligible to obtain a Class G license. All license/certification must always be current and active.
Other: Knowledge of local, state and federal laws, current safety/security practices and property loss prevention techniques. Basic Computer Skills. Ability to use radio communications equipment. Analytical ability. Interpersonal skills.
