Summary

The System Director executes the vision for the Outpatient Surgical Services across the Lee Health system in collaboration with VP of Surgical Services and various multidisciplinary teams. This is an area of high growth for the Health System and we need a dynamic leader to drive operational excellence across all Outpatient Surgical Services while identifying opportunities for standardization of Best Practices for expected outcomes.

Provides operational and strategic leadership to grow and expand outpatient surgical services by service lines and volumes. Collaborate with all Surgical Services Directors in the acute care setting to identify low acuity cases better served in ambulatory settings. Collaborates with the Director of Outpatient Surgical Services and the Managers to improve clinical outcomes by providing oversight, guidance, and resources. Supports the growth of outpatient surgical services by working with the VP on strategy improvements and leading mergers and acquisitions. Provides fiscal oversight of the outpatient surgery centers with responsibility of overseeing the budgets. Drives regulatory compliance with director and site managers.

The System Director is responsible to ensure that the leaders in the Outpatient Surgical Centers direct and coordinate patient care, within their defined area of responsibility, through established standards subscribed by the American Nurses Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

Education Requirements:Masters degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Healthcare required.

Experience Requirements:6 years Nursing Leadership required.

Certification Requirements:

License Requirements:Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
