We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supervisor of Physician Coding & Quality Documentation ready to make a meaningful difference in our Coding Department.

What You Will Do:

In this leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Physician Coding Education team, helping to shape quality standards and guide clinical documentation accuracy. Your work will directly support patient care by ensuring precision and compliance in all coding practices.

You Will:

  • Manage and support a high-performing coding education team.
  • Collaborate with Physicians, NPs, PAs, Nurses, and Data Quality leaders to drive improvement and educational initiatives.
  • Deliver coaching, feedback, and training to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor and refine documentation and coding processes with clinical expertise.

Who You Are:

You're a natural leader with a clinical background who understands the importance of quality documentation in healthcare. You bring:

  • A Bachelors in Nursing or Healthcare (required)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License State of Florida (required)
  • At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Experience in Quality Documentation (minimum 1 year)
  • CPC (Certified Professional Coder) required
  • CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor) preferred

Leadership experience is a plus, especially if you've managed teams and supported their growth through training and mentoring.
