What You'll Do:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) team to ensure compliance with Lee Health standards and industry best practices.
• Manage daily team activities, ensuring timely and accurate documentation that supports quality patient care and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and educate staff on all phases of the clinical documentation process, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with Medical Staff, Advanced Practice Providers (PAs, NPs), Nurses, Coding and Data Quality teams, and Department Leadership.
• Offer coaching and feedback to team members, addressing performance issues and facilitating educational opportunities.
• Support the identification and resolution of process challenges while driving best practices and innovation.
