The Sterile Product Compliance pharmacist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of sterile product medications used throughout the health-system. The pharmacist is expected to sustain an environment for the safe, rational, effective, and efficient use of sterile product medications prescribed to patients of all age.The candidate should have relevant knowledge and experience with sterile product and hazardous drug compounding and USP 797 and 800 requirements.
Education: PharmD required or BS Pharmacy degree with equivalent and acceptable experience from a College of Pharmacy accredited by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
Experience: Five or more years experience in sterile product compounding..
Certification: Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist (BCSCP) - Preferred
License: State of Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Registered Pharmacist Licensure.
Other: The candidate should have relevant knowledge and experience with sterile product and hazardous drug compounding and USP 797 and 800 requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, data entry skills, analytical and basic math skills required.
