Functions as the data specialist for the Staffing Resource Center, providing support via collection, verification and interpretation of data from various sources to improve the reliability and efficacy of Traveler staffing functions. Main objective is to reduce the usage of travelers and driving down cost. This includes ensuring correct wage rates, hours worked, and other areas related to compliance. Using strong analytical skills as well as multiple systems/databases, responsible for accurately and timely data entry/analysis of critical information, ensuring data integrity and allowing for smooth SRC decision-making and operations. Partner closely with HR and payroll. Expected to proactively notify SRC leadership of changing trends or patterns in data to ensure timely actions. Position will promote efficient Traveler placement throughout Lee Health by accurately forecasting scheduling needs, analyzing trends, and translating that to the overall placement process. Specialist will also function as a resource for Lee Health units regarding timekeeping/scheduling functions for Agency Travelers, including redeployment of Traveler.
Education: Associate degree or college coursework in business or healthcare required.
Experience: 2 years of office environment experience with computer efficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required. Experience working in a health care setting, particularly clinical/acute care preferred. Presentation/training experience preferred.

Other: Reporting skills: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and computer literacy skills in database maintenance activities. Able to learn other computer programs easily and utilizes such programs on a daily basis. Experienced in report creation, analysis and information presentation.
