About the Unit
- 38-bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit
- 1:4 RN-to-patient ratio
- Specialties include urology, plastics, skin flaps, and extensive wound care
- 10+ specialty beds for advanced wound management (including quadriplegic patients)
- Supportive team environment and leadership invested in your success

Your Role
As a Surgical Progressive Care Nurse, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care using critical thinking and clinical expertise. Youll be responsible for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards and Floridas Nurse Practice Act.
You'll also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective, compassionate care that meets each patients unique needs.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors preferred)
- Experience: At least 2 years of recent hospital experience
- Certifications:Current Florida RN LicenseBLS Certification (AHA), valid for at least 90 days post-hireAdditional certifications may be required by unit
- Current Florida RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA), valid for at least 90 days post-hire .Additional certifications may be required by unit
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
