Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.27 - $40.86 / hour
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the safe, efficient delivery and documentation of patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse performs in multiple roles including clinician, teacher, researcher, leader, and professional developer, utilizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
The RN directs and coordinates patient care according to established nursing practice standards, the American Nurses Association (ANA) guidelines, the Florida Nurse Practice Act, and other regulatory standards. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams ensures effective care delivery and optimal patient outcomes. The nurse integrates knowledge of patient age, cultural diversity, and individual needs into care, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and promoting excellence in customer service. Practice is guided by the Code of Ethics for Nurses and its interpretative statements.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience:
Clinical experience required; must successfully complete department-specific competency assessments.

Licensure:
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida required.
Certifications:
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required, valid for a minimum of 90 days after hire.

Other Requirements:
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing patient care needs.
