Comprised of over 700 team members, our Rehabilitation team at Lee Health is dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through comprehensive, patient-centered care. Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists work collaboratively with medical teams to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients unique needs. In addition to core rehab services, we offer a range of specialty programs including neurological rehabilitation, vestibular and balance therapy, lymphedema management, pelvic health therapy, and oncology rehabilitation. With services available across acute care, post acute, and outpatient settings, our team delivers high-quality, compassionate care that supports recovery, restores function, and enhances quality of life.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Physical Therapists:
As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with movement-related impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. You will design, implement, and modify treatment plans to alleviate these issues, promote health and wellness, and reduce the risk of injury. Additional responsibilities include consultation, education, research, and administrative duties. Success in this role requires professionalism, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, effective time and resource management, stress management, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Occupational Therapists:
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities. You will design, implement, and adjust interventions to improve function, promote health and wellness, and reduce the risk of injury or disability. Additional responsibilities include consultation, education, research, and administrative duties. Requirements
Speech Language Pathologists:
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will provide screening, evaluation, treatment, and education for individuals with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You will adhere to all American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) professional standards and be actively involved in administration, consultation, education, and research.
