Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$37.62 - $37.62 / hour

Summary

Performs screening and diagnostic mammography as well as bone densitometry and needle localizations. Ensures that quality control as required under the MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) is being met. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation training.

Educational Requirements

Degree/Diploma Obtained	Program of Study	Required/ Preferred	and/or
Associate's	Radiologic Technology	Preferred

Additional Requirements

Two years formal education in a hospital based program or Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification in radiology and or mammography required. Completion of 40 hours of required MQSA mammography training. Must complete mammography ARRT board certification within 12 months or less from date of employment
