In this vital role, youll:
Coordinate and schedule outpatient surgeries for our pediatric ophthalmology patients
Partner closely with physicians, advanced providers, and clinical staff to ensure optimal flow and communication
Serve as the key liaison between families, providers, and surgical teams
Deliver compassionate service while helping patients and their families navigate their care journey
Who Were Looking For:
You bring at least 1 year of healthcare experience, ideally in medical or surgical scheduling. Youre highly organized, attentive to detail, and understand the importance of proactive, clear communicationespecially when it comes to supporting our Providers. Clerical position, responsible for effective scheduling, coding, verifying insurance and/or obtaining necessary pre-certification/authorization for surgical procedures, utilizing computer scheduling software in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Interacts with physicians, patients, families and department staff to meet identified needs.
