As an OR Scheduler, youll play a vital role in ensuring seamless coordination of surgical procedures by:
Collaborating closely with providers, clinical staff, and patients to schedule and manage surgeries
Maintaining clear communication and accurate documentation of surgical details
Demonstrating excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Building strong relationships with surgeons and office teams to ensure an efficient surgical scheduling process
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year of healthcare experience required
1 year of medical-based scheduling experience preferred
Exceptional communication, accuracy, and multitasking abilities are key to success in this role
Work alongside a collaborative and supportive OBGYN team

Clerical position, responsible for effective scheduling, coding, verifying insurance and/or obtaining necessary pre-certification/authorization for surgical procedures, utilizing computer scheduling software in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Interacts with physicians, patients, families and department staff to meet identified needs.
