Golisano Childrens Hospital (Lee Health) is seeking a Pediatric Geneticist

Located in Fort Myers, Florida near Southwest Florida's beaches is Golisano Children's Hospital - a state-of-the-art Pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 135-bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano Childrens provides various specialized services to take care of all of our community's children, from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital has a 16 bed PICU and a 70 bed NICU with 24 hour in-house Neonatology coverage.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group (LPG) Pediatrics is seeking a full-time ABMGG Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Geneticist to join their team, which is currently lead by Jeffrey W. Innis, MD, PhD (jeffrey.innis@leehealth.org). The candidate for this position must have completed a Medical Genetics Residency in an ACGME-accredited program. Candidates with previous academic experience and/or expertise in Medical Biochemical Genetics are encouraged to apply. The candidate will participate in the diagnosis, counseling and treatment of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Depending on the candidate, there also are opportunities to provide adult medical genetics services , and participate in academic publications. . The providers utilize EPIC for their electronic medical records.
