Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, track, and analyze infection trends and outbreaks

• Develop and implement infection prevention and control strategies

• Conduct regular surveillance and regulatory reporting

• Provide education and training to clinical and support staff

• Participate in policy development, performance improvement, and compliance reviews

• Serve as a resource to departments across the organization regarding best practices

Qualifications:

• RN license required; must be licensed in the state of Florida

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred or obtained within a specified timeframe

• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting

• Prior infection prevention or epidemiology experience preferred
