Hybrid position 80% of the time.

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.27 - $40.86 / hour

Support Clinical Excellence Through Quality Review and Professional Collaboration

Lee Health is seeking a Professional Practice Evaluation Specialist to support our collegial, system-wide medical quality review program. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with a strong clinical background and a passion for patient safety and performance improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and help coordinate the medical staff peer review process and Medical Staff Quality Committees
  • Assist with the integration of clinical care processes into daily provider workflows
  • Facilitate initial and ongoing physician performance feedback reports
  • Promote safety and performance excellence through customer service and process improvement
  • Collaborate across departments within the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement division

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelors Degree in Nursing required if hired with an Associates Degree in Nursing, must obtain a BSN within five years of hire/transfer
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing required

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years providing care in a clinical healthcare setting
  • Minimum of 3 years providing care in a clinical healthcare setting
  • Minimum of 2 years in quality and/or patient safety
  • Ambulatory experience a plus.
  • Licensure:Current Florida RN or APRN license required
  • Current Florida RN or APRN license required

Certifications:

  • CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety) or CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred

Skills:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong public speaking, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities
