Lee Health is seeking Primary Care Physicians!

Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,250 employed primary care and specialty care providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds. As a physician-led organization, Lee Health takes an active role in clinician wellness and engagement. Lee Healths primary care division is robust with multiple locations and access points to serve the community. We have 330 providers in over 20 locations. With community access at the heart of our mission and vision, our team continues to look for individuals and locations for on-going expansion of this division.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group Primary Care is seeking a dynamic and innovative Medical Director for the Division. This individual will have a hybrid role that consists of 30% outpatient clinical medicine and 70% administrative responsibilities. Supported by two Regional Medical Directors, the Medical Director drives high quality care by working collaboratively with the Primary Care team but also our entire network to increase access for the community; promote and enhance patient satisfaction; and engage team members in outreach, education and training opportunities and partner with specialty clinics for continuity of care. Additional responsibilities of this role include recruitment and retention efforts, quality improvement and provider engagement.

LPG is seeking experienced physicians interested in providing comprehensive and preventive care to their patients who are skilled leaders and understand the complexities and opportunities of a large, non-profit health system.

We have a variety of primary care practice structures, including both full-spectrum family medicine and adults only. Candidates must be Board Certified in either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
