Medical Director for Hospitalist Medicine

Lee Health is looking for a Medical Director of Hospitalist Medicine

This exciting position is an opportunity for an experienced leader to work collaboratively with physicians and operations executives in providing exceptional patient care.

The right individual will have current board certification as an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, able to obtain a clear Florida License, and will have strong leadership experience.

Lee Health's Hospitalist Medicine Department is comprised of over 100 Physicians and APPs covering multiple campuses throughout Lee County. This diverse group of talented individuals work hard every day to care for our community. In this role, the Medical Director will be a direct liaison between the medical staff and the Chief Physician Executive.

Responsibilities of this exciting role include but are not limited to: Strategic On-Going Development of the Program, Quality Review and Assurance, Peer to Peer Feedback, Talent Recruitment and Protocol/Policy Review. Furthermore, this individual will be a key player in developing relationships and bridging gaps between specialties in order to remove barriers to care.
