Summary

The Manager of Technology Services is responsible for managing the technical systems engineering organization. The manager builds, develops, and manages an organization of highly talented systems engineers and administrators with a span of technical and organizational process and systems experience. The manager designs, builds, and supports all systems hardware and software needed to support Lee Healths information requirements, business objectives, and technical roadmap along with data center capabilities.

The Manager of Technology Services is a creative innovator and a technically hands-on manager who can manage a diverse technical staff and resources in multiple projects through all life-cycle phases in accordance with established direction and standards. The manager will evaluate and recommend an implementation methodology utilizing industry standards and is architected with required resiliency and redundancy ensuring maximum system uptime. The manager will deploy technical solutions designed with optimal quality while ensuring cost-effectiveness with demonstrated returns on investments.

Additionally, this position will be responsible for core enterprise technology platforms including:

  • Microsoft Windows desktop image
  • Microsoft server environment
  • Microsoft systems patching and distribution
  • Third party application patching and updates
  • Virtual application delivery environment
  • Network load balancing including Citrix NetScaler
  • Remote access management via Secure Access
  • Virtual desktop environment
  • Systems administration and engineering for core enterprise platforms

The Manager Technology Services will manage technical teams while providing excellent customer service system wide. They develop and maintain effective relationships with all IS leaders, IS staff, and other organizational leaders and staff. This leadership position will also assume other duties as assigned.
