Summary
Provide outpatient coding for multiple types of coding including coding guidelines, resources, 3M Encoder and Epic. Develop, update, and maintain training materials and documentation related to outpatient coding. Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions to ensure coders understand and apply proper coding practices. Monitor and evaluate the performance of outpatient coders in training, providing constructive feedback and coaching for improvement. Stay current with changes in outpatient coding regulations and guidelines. Effectively communicate with the leadership team regarding the performance and progress of trainees.

Additional Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in outpatient coding with a strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Prior experience as a coding trainer, educator, or supervisor preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to teach and motivate others.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain complex coding concepts in an understandable manner.
Proficient with 3M Encoder and Epic.
