Job Overview:Lee Health Neurology is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic Neurology team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the overall success of our Neurology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive neurological assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions, collaborating with Neurologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI, CT scans, and EEGs, to aid in accurate diagnoses.
- Provide patient education on neurological conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with Neurology team members to enhance patient care and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Certification from an accredited professional organization.
- Specialization or experience in Neurology preferred.
