Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: At least 2 years in a Customer Service Representative (CSR) role. Healthcare experience is a plus!
Skills: Excellent communication & interpersonal abilities, computer/IT proficiency, basic math skills, and a passion for helping others.
Bonus: Familiarity with insurance verification and medical billing is helpful but not required.

This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a team-based environment for all aspects of patient business activity within the outpatient location. Responsibilities include handling telephones, patient registration/check-in, patient appointment scheduling, insurance verification, authorization, pre-certifications, referrals, and posting charges, initial collections, preparing well-coded and accurate billing and maintenance of medical records. Detailed oriented and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Ability to effectively communicate and present information, respond to questions and problem-solving skills. Responsible for meeting the following criteria: Provides support to the outpatient business activities where there is a manager over two or more offices without a supervisor on site. Depending on the specific outpatient department needs, this position may be required to manage the business services for workers compensation, commercial carriers, employee health and corporate accounts. Late hours, holidays and weekends may be required. Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department.
Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Experience: At least 2-years of prior Customer Service Representative (CSR) experience required and motivated to return to school to pursue a degree to advance within the department to a leadership position/career path.
