The IS Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing complex cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact such as electronic medical record implementations, ERP implementations, all technology aspects of new facility, etc. He/she is responsible for creating integrated project plans that encompass all technical, business, and communication aspects of technology projects. He/she manages all phases of the project lifecycle to implement information technologies while identifying areas for improvement around process enhancements, system utilizations, standardizations and optimizations. He/she serves as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects while ensuring deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. This position will be largely remote with onsite as needed.
Additionally, this position will lead/assist in the support of processes within the IS Project Management Office that include:
IS project management software applications
Project Management policies and procedures
Project Management Portfolio
IT Governance
This position will be responsible for project managing medium and large scale technology projects. Serves as a mentor for new project managers. Develops and maintains effective relationships and communications with all IS leaders, IS staff, and other organization leaders and staff. Assumes other duties as assigned.
