Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$15.64 - $18.75 / hour
This position will be responsible for hospital claims billing, follow up, and denial resolution for all Medicare Secondary payers. Additional responsibilities include the facilitation of accounts receivable by working assigned report to secure maximum reimbursement and to resolve denied claims in a timely manner and would apply applicable adjustments and utilize all avenues of reimbursement prior to assigning an account to self-pay. The candidate must be able to produce high volumes and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment when necessary, along with a supportive team attitude and a friendly personality. This job requires the ability to be multi-task oriented while using critical thinking skills to appropriately handle complexity and stress of the position with regard to the ever-changing needs of the Health System. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) and previous medical/financial healthcare or business office related experience is preferred.
