Summary
The Finance Systems Analyst plays a critical role in bridging finance and technology by managing, optimizing, and supporting the organizations financial systems. This role ensures the integrity, efficiency, and functionality of systems used for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial processes and technical aptitude for system design, data integration, and process automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Support & Maintenance:
- Serve as subject matter expert for financial systems such as ERP (e.g., Infor, SAP, MHC, GHX), and reporting platforms (e.g., Axiom, SQL, Tableau).
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT or vendors for resolution.
- Process Improvement & Automation:
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline financial processes, reduce manual work, and increase accuracy.
- Develop and maintain integrations between systems to ensure data consistency.
- User Training & Documentation:
- Provide training to finance and business users on systems and tools.
- Create and maintain user manuals, system documentation, and SOPs.
- Project Management:
- Support or lead finance systems projects including upgrades, new module implementations, and enhancements.
- Gather business requirements, coordinate testing, and ensure timely delivery.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Ensure data integrity within finance systems through audits and reconciliation.
- Design and maintain financial reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Accounting, IT, Physicians Compensation and other departments to align system functionality with business needs.
- Act as liaison between finance and technical teams during system development and issue resolution.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
Experience:3+ years of experience in a finance systems, FP&A, or financial operations role
Certification: Not required
License: Not required
