The Director is responsible for the ongoing operations of the consolidated Cancer Data Center. The Director has over site of all cancer data collected form our 4 acute care hospitals including maintaining all regulatory compliance set forth by the State of Florida and the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. The Director assesses, plans, implements and evaluates all functions of the cancer data center including: case finding, abstracting, follow-up, tumor boards, cancer committee, special studies and regulatory compliance. The Director represents the cancer data center on appropriate committees and provides input into strategic planning.
