Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$27.57 - $35.84 / hour
Plan and execute nutrition education programs and cooking classes for community. Works as part of the Healthy Life Center to plan and host education programs and navigate to Lee Health physicians and services. This position develops, implements and participates in customer service and patient relations initiatives related to the Lee Memorial Health System. Participate in the development of health and wellness vision and strategy.
Education: Bachelors degree in Dietetics / Human Nutrition and Foods required.
Experience: Minimum of 1year weight/lifestyle management experience.
Certification: Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required.
License: Florida Licensure (LD) through the Florida Department of Health.
Other: Working knowledge of principles of current clinical nutrition and lifestyle therapy weight management for age-specific populations served. Demonstrate ability to interface with system personnel and medical staff on issues of clinical nutrition and lifestyle therapy weight management.
