The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is an Advanced Practice Nurse// whose sphere of clinical practice influences patient care outcomes// nursing practices across acute and critical care services// and the development of organizational systems that support nursing practice and patient care standards. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing science required to influence nursing practice. Possesses clinical expertise based on completion of advanced nursing education that encompasses in-depth knowledge of theory-based clinical nursing and research/evidence-based nursing practice. Focuses on providing system-wide clinical expertise// developing innovative evidence-based procedures// policies and programs that improve quality of nursing care delivery and resource management for acute or critical care services. Provides collaborative/consultative services to promote outcome focused professional nursing practice that meets nationally accepted clinical practice guidelines and standards for quality// safety// service// and financial goals.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background with at least 3 years of experience or formal education as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, combined with a minimum of 5 years of ICU nursing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert clinical consultation and guidance to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical protocols and standards of care
Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Facilitate education and professional development for nursing staff
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for ICU nursing staff
