Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$31.90 - $41.48 / hour
The Cardiovascular Technologist plays a key role in supporting Cardiologists during invasive procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab. This position is responsible for performing all aspects of circulating, scrubbing, recording, and imaging duties, while also providing safe, direct patient care and equipment support in a high-acuity environment.
Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac or electrophysiology procedures, ensuring readiness of equipment and supplies
Perform circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring roles, including ECG interpretation and real-time data capture
Administer medications under appropriate protocols and monitor patient responses
Interpret and respond to hemodynamic and electrophysiological changes during procedures
Operate and troubleshoot imaging and procedural equipment with minimal supervision
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Provide patient-centered care, comfort, and education throughout the procedural process

RequirementsEducation:Associate Degree required or two years of formal education or training beyond high school required.
Experience:Minimum of 1 year of CVT experience required.
Certification:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
