Join our cardiovascular team and gain hands-on experience in a high-tech, fast-paced environment. Under the supervision of experienced staff, the Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist assists Cardiologists with select invasive procedures. This role involves cross-training across all key functions, including circulating, scrubbing, recording, and x-ray duties, while also delivering safe, direct patient care.
Responsibilities include basic interpretation of hemodynamic data and ECGs, medication administration per protocol, and supporting procedure prep and recoveryall under the guidance of experienced clinicians.
Education:
Associate degree required OR
Two years of formal education or training beyond high school
Experience:
Less than 1 year of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) experience required
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association must be current for at least 90 days post-hire
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required for applicable units must be current for at least 90 days post-hire
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred
RCIS-eligible candidates encouraged to apply
