This is a part time position where you will be working 40hrs in a pay period (two weeks) and 8hr shifts at a time with some call as well.
"Performs high quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance to the policies and procedures that are provided by the Lee Health cardiovascular department. A Level 2 (primary vascular) sonographer must specialize in non-invasive vascular testing. Sonographer must be proficient in carotid duplex, upper and lower extremity venous studies, upper and lower extremity non-imaging arterial studies, upper and lower arterial duplex, and pseudo aneurysm evaluations. The position requires varied shifts including weekend rotations and ""on call"" rotation as determined per specific department needs including holidays, weekends and evenings. Portable exams are done based on patient need. Demonstrate flexibility in learning all equipment. Have an understanding of sterile procedures, isolation precaution techniques, infectious hazardous materials, sharp instruments, and defibrillator equipment."
