Cardiac Intensivist

Lee Health's Advanced Heart Failure Program is Growing!

We are actively seeking physicians interested in supporting this program in a Cardiac Intensivist role!

Qualifications:

Current (or the ability to obtain) and active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida as well as a DEA

Board Certified in Critical Care and a Cardiac Specialty (General Cardiology, Cardiac Anesthesiology, Interventional Cardiology, etc.)

BLS and ACLS Required

This individual will be responsible for day to day patient management in the Cardiac ICU. Specifically, this physician should be adept at intubations, arterial line insertion and management, chest tube placement, central/picc lines. The general patient demographic will include, but not be limited to, patients with chronic and acute heart failure. Device and therapy support is required such as LVAD, Balloon Pumps and ECMO.
