Lee Health is seeking an experienced RN to join their Employee Health team. The Ambulatory RN Supervisor is a new position created to support the Employee Health Team. This RN must have 2 years of RN experience. Employee Health experience and/or outpatient experience is preferred.
This position is located in the Medical Office Building at Gulf Coast Medical Center.
The Supervisor manages one or more defined areas of organized patient care services. Supervisors provide direction to patient care staff to promote safe quality patient care and nursing services in a professionally supportive environment on a continuous basis by ensuring consistent nursing standards guide the provision of nursing care. Responsible for directing and coordinating patient care within their defined area of responsibility through established standards subscribed by the American Nurses Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Performs responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice: clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership and professional development. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors degree in nursing or healthcare field preferred.
Experience:2 years' of nursing experience required. Nursing Leadership experience preferred.
State of Florida Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) required.
Certifications/Registration: Certification in appropriate specialty preferred. BLS required.
Other: Ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to improve the delivery of care. Exceptional communication skills.
