Summary

This is a remote position for incumbents who reside in Florida only, may work at home. Occasionally, certain situations may require work to be performed on-site at a designated Lee Health location, such as for training or HR-related matters

The Advanced Integration Analyst/Developer for Epic Bridges plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting data integration solutions that enable seamless communication between Epic and other systems. This position involves analyzing workflows, developing and maintaining interfaces, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency.

The Advanced Integration Analyst/Developer is responsible for maintenance and support of assigned system integrations within the organization such as HL7, batch extracts, API, etc. Responsible for application development as assigned to support new technologies/programs or enhance existing technologies. Serves as a subject matter expert on assigned project teams and department initiatives, develops test scripts, conducts testing, supports upgrades and project go lives. Additionally, the Advanced Integration Analyst/Developer utilizes advanced application & analytical skills to design, program and test solutions to meet the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Design, build, test, and maintain interfaces using Epic Bridges tools and other integration platforms.

Monitor interface activity and performance, ensuring data flows without interruptions.

Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues, coordinating with Epic and third-party vendors as necessary.

Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to identify interface requirements and specifications.

Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements related to interfaces.

Conduct analysis to ensure interfaces support current workflows and adapt to new system requirements.

Ensure interfaces meet regulatory and organizational standards, including HIPAA compliance.

Maintain detailed technical documentation, including interface configurations, workflows, and issue resolutions.

Assist with the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to integration.

Communicate project updates, challenges, and resolutions effectively to stakeholders.

Key skills and Attribute Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience with interface development and integration engine tools.

Deep understanding of HL7, FHIR, X12, and other healthcare or industry-specific data standards.

Certifications needed or the ability to obtain in a specified timeframe

o Epic Bridges (Required)

o Corepoint (preferred)

Prior healthcare IT experience preferred, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
