Summary

Position Overview:
As a critical member of the Information Systems Department, the Advanced Application Analyst MyChart plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the Epic MyChart Patient Portal and related systems. This role is responsible for addressing strategic, tactical, and technical IT needs, overseeing project implementations, and providing production support to ensure seamless operation across all areas of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage advanced application and analytical expertise to design, develop, and test innovative solutions that meet organizational needs, focusing on Epics MyChart Patient Portal and supporting systems within Lee Health.
  • Collaborate with Information Systems leadership to develop and enhance processes and workflows, ensuring integrated and efficient operations across departments.
  • Maintain, update, and refine existing documentation and processes within areas of responsibility to promote clear communication and ease of maintenance among team members.
  • Provide timely and effective communication of project statuses, updates, and technical information to leaders, peers, and end users.
  • Prepare and execute detailed functional system and program specifications using structured methodologies to support project success.
  • Coordinate system implementations, updates, and issue resolutions within the MyChart community, ensuring high-quality and satisfactory outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as required to contribute to the success of the team, department, and broader organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading IT projects from inception to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Epics MyChart Patient Portal
  • Familiarity with Epics Ambulatory functionality and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent customer service orientation combined with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and openness to change and continuous improvement.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in Patient Experience Programs or related healthcare initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Telemedicine technologies and workflows.

Requirements

Education:Bachelors degree required. May accept 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Experience:Minimum of 5 years experience in Information Systems management required.

Certification: Certification in at least one Epic module, preferably MyChart, Ambulatory or Cadence.

License:
