Lee Health is seeking a Hospitalist Medicine Physician!

Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty care providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

LPG Hospitalist Medicine is seeking a physician board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine to join their team. This high-quality physician group is team oriented, hardworking and is looking for hospitalists to fill positions at either Gulf Coast Medical Center or Health Park Medical Center. This position is 7 days on 7 days off 8a-8p or 8p-8am. There is AP support to help cover admissions. Daytime hospitalists typically see between 15-18 patients per shift with a goal of 16. Quarterly Quality Incentive and extra shifts are available for additional compensation.

Hospital Summary:

Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 699-bed acute care facility that is centrally located in Fort Myers FL. Gulf Coast Medical Center houses the Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic services, and general surgery. The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care and minimally invasive catheter procedures to treat stroke, as well as a dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit.

HealthPark Medical Center, is a 461-bed facility located in Fort Myers FL that provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, from cardiology and OBGYN, to rehab and radiology. HealthPark also includes a full-service emergency care center which is open 24/7. It is also the primary location for Lee Healths cardiac program and is a designated Chest Pain Center.
