We are currently seeking experienced Surgical Technologiststo join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at HealthPark Medical Center - a premier destination for advanced cardiac surgery in Southwest Florida.

Summary
The surgical technologist III functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient in a variety of specialties. Performs call obligations as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High School graduate or equivalent, and graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists or accredited vocational school of nursing.

Experience: 3 years minimum experience. Meets all standards and competencies for Surgical Technologist II. Demonstrates proficiency in specialty.

Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) through the AHA (American Heart Association) required. CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) preferred.
