Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$27.57 - $35.84 / hour

Summary

Plan and provide Nutrition interventions that include consideration of specific age-related characteristics and needs related to physical development, motor control, communication, socialization, and safety for the oncology patient. Assists in the coordination and integration of nutrition services with other oncology departments, committees, physicians and clinics. Manages the nutritional care of adult oncology patients.

Requirements

Education:Bachelors degree in Dietetics / Human Nutrition and Foods if RDN is obtained prior to 1/1/2024. Masters degree required if RDN is obtained on or after 1/1/2024.

Experience:Experience in oncology clinical nutrition preferred.

Certification:N/A

License:Commission on Dietetic Registration Registered Dietitian (RD): Required.

May be RD Eligible to apply for position but must be RD before start date.

Florida Licensure (LD) through the Florida Department of Profession Regulations (DPR): Required and must obtain within 90 days of hire.

Certified Nutrition Support Specialist preferred.

Other:Working knowledge of principles of current clinical nutrition and patient care for adult populations. Demonstrate ability to interface with system personnel and medical staff on issues of clinical nutrition and patient care.
