Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$31.76 - $39.70 / hour

Summary

Responsible for overseeing the technical and regulatory functions related to Transfusion Services within LMHS. Coordinates activities of the technical staff and allocates available resources to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations. Works closely with the System Director of Laboratory Services, Laboratory Medical Directors and laboratory leadership team in the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures for transfusion services. Coordinates performance improvement activities for the department. Promotes excellent customer service and ensures laboratory services are delivered in accordance with quality and financial standards. Ensures laboratory services are delivered in compliance with regulatory requirements and LMHS policies and procedures. Participates in system leadership functions and collaborates with other leaders within their facility as a representative of the laboratory department.
