Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$56.40 - $76.14 / hour

Summary

Working in partnership with the Adult Cardiac Transplant Medical Director and Surgical Director, the Director provides administrative oversight for all phases of the transplant continuum including patient referral, evaluation, listing, transplantation, post-transplant care, quality improvement, outreach, and program growth.

The Director leads multidisciplinary teams while fostering collaboration among physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, hospital operations, Lee Physician Group (LPG), Advanced Heart Failure leadership, finance, quality, and executive leadership.

Requirements

Education: Masters degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required. Doctoral Degree Preferred.

Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in an acute care hospital or integrated healthcare system. Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience within cardiovascular services, advanced heart failure, cardiac surgery, transplant services, or another advanced clinical service line. Demonstrated experience leading complex multidisciplinary teams and physician partnerships. Experience with strategic planning, operational management, quality improvement, and financial oversight. Experience leading performance improvement initiatives using data to drive clinical and operational outcomes.

Certification: N/A

License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) required.

Other: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Comprehensive knowledge of adult cardiac transplantation, advanced heart failure, and mechanical circulatory support.

Knowledge of transplant regulatory standards, quality reporting, and survey readiness.

Strong understanding of hospital operations, healthcare finance, and strategic planning.
