Lee Health is seeking a results-drivenManager of Facility-Based Accounts Receivableto lead payer-specific hospital AR operations and cash posting functions. This position is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reimbursement while driving improvements in cash collections, AR performance, and overall revenue cycle efficiency.
The Manager oversees the Cash Posting and AR Support teams, including leadership of Accounts Receivable Supervisors responsible for daily payer follow-up activities. Cash posting responsibilities include payments for facility, physician, home health, patient, and other organizational accounts. The role requires strong knowledge of cash posting, payment reconciliation, banking processes, clearinghouses, and document management. Experience with BOT technology is preferred.
Working closely with Revenue Cycle leadership and departments including Patient Financial Services, Patient Access, HIM, Coding, Contracting, Compliance, Clinical Services, and IT, the Manager uses data, performance metrics, and process improvement strategies to reduce AR days, minimize denials, and optimize reimbursement.
The ideal candidate is an innovative, adaptable leader who can effectively manage multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced environment while developing staff and maintaining high standards for accuracy, productivity, and compliance.
Qualifications
Education: Associates degree in business administration or related field required. A combination of one of the following professional certifications and experience may be considered in lieu of degree: Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP-I) or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) (HFMA) Certification combined with an additional 4 years of qualifying experience.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years experience in large multi-campus health systems with extensive knowledge of all revenue cycle functions, compliance and healthcare regulations. Two years management experience required. Epic experience required.
