Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Nurse Manager to lead our Phone Triage department. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a background in ambulatory nursing. The Ambulatory Nurse Manager position is an onsite position.
Experience in ambulatory phone triage is preferred. The Nurse Manager will provide leadership and oversight for the department while supporting high-quality, patient-centered care and ensuring efficient, consistent triage practices.
The Ambulatory Nurse Manager is responsible to manage patient care services delivered in assigned ambulatory our outpatient location. The Ambulatory Nurse Manager collaborates with other organizational leaders and medical staff in designing and providing patient care and services that are evidenced-based, patient centered, efficient, and safe. The Ambulatory Nurse Manager in partnership with operational leadership provide direction and training to patient care staff to promote quality patient care, nursing services and a culture of safety on a continuous basis. This position develops and maintains technical proficiency with the EHR, and serves as a resource and support to staff, leadership, and physicians. Responsible for directing and coordinating patient care, within their defined area of responsibility, through established standards subscribed by the American Nurses Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. This position supports assigned practice physicians, leaders and reports to the Associate Chief Nurse Executive - LPG.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN)required.
Masters degree in nursing or other healthcare field preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in Nursing Leadership required, experience in ambulatory nursingpreferred.
License:
Florida RN License required
Certifications:
Certification in Ambulatory Nursing or Nursing Leadership preferred.
Other:
Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of nursing care. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Project management, quality improvement, and the ability to lead change through innovation and relationships.
