Summary

Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced RN to join their Phone Triage Team in Fort Myers. This is a full time position. Weekends and holidays are rotated among the staff. Weekend hours vary. We are seeking an RN with a mixed clinical history within outpatient/primary care, home health, triage and critical care nursing to handle the wide variety of calls to best serve our patients.

Completes a detailed clinical assessment via telephone to identify the urgency and nature of the patients condition and coordinates the appropriate disposition to receive healthcare. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process and Evidence-Based decision support tools. Makes complex decisions based on nursing assessment, effective listening, critical thinking, advanced assessment and communication skills are essential. In addition to patient triage, the RN will facilitate other care delivery and self-care advice as the situation warrants.
