We are currently seeking a Manager of Referral Development to work with Lee Physician's Group. This position offers some remote work but is based onsite at our Patient Access Center.

Plans, organizes, and provides leadership to achieve the inpatient and outpatient referral, admissions and business office objectives, responsible for providing leadership and direction throughout the referral and intake/process functions. Strategically positions the organization for preservation of existing referral relationships, capturing new opportunities and successfully directing the resultant business through the admission process.
Provides leadership to an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimum performance with client outcomes, financial outcomes, and productivity expectations by providing focus and definition of roles within the team. Provides direction to staff to promote quality care and optimal customer relations on a continuous basis. The Manager is responsible for ensuring that consistent standards guide the provision of care. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient referral and the achievement of desired outcomes for Lee Health. Supports the organization vision and mission. Contributes to the provision of quality care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes.
Manages the daily operational activities of the department in alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.
Participates in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, training, and evaluation of staff. Assesses technical and professional education needs of the staff and develops or provides educational resources to meet those needs. Assigns workloads and monitors quantity and quality of work. Determines and/or manages business priorities. Develops and implements policies and procedures to insure efficient and effective delivery of services in the department. Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of services. Monitors the department's operating budget.
Education: Associate or Bachelor in Healthcare and/or Education.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in healthcare industry operations. The preferred candidate will also have experience of managing in the healthcare sector or practice. Candidate should have a demonstrated track record in planning, organizing, analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated effective working relationships as a leader and as a participant across all organizational lines and levels.
